East Chicago Public Library has an increasing number of devices that can be checked out with a library card in good standing

Internet Hospots

The hotspot lending program is a free service that allows cardholders to check out a hotspot device and connect to the internet from almost anywhere!

A hotspot is a small device you can use to connect a wireless enabled device, such as a laptop, smartphone or tablet, to the internet. Hotspots are portable, so you can connect your device to the internet almost anywhere you are, like at home, on the bus or in the park.

VCR & DVD Player

A $50.00 cash deposit is required, with $5.00 of the deposit retained as a service charge. VCP/DVD players may be kept for 2 days. No extensions will be granted. The late fee is $4.00 per day.

 

Digital Camera

A $50.00 cash deposit is required, with $5.00 of the deposit retained as a service charge. Digital Cameras may be kept for 2 days. No extensions will be granted. The late fee is $4.00 per day.
